Foundation fieldbus™ Product Line Expands to more than 100 Part Numbers

Northwire’s line of DataCELL® FIELD network cables for Foundation fieldbus has undergone a major expansion.  Now, over 100 part numbers are listed.

Now offered are

• Single pairs or multi-paired bus cables – up to 12 pairs in a single shielded cable.
• Shielding options – foil-only or tinned copper braid over foil.
• Choice of 18 AWG or 16 AWG signal cables for longer runs.
• All  are fully compliant with new FF - 844 Cable Test Specification
• Standard 100 Ω nominal Z_C design, plus new nominal 83 Ω nominal Z_C versions where smaller diameter, more economical cables are desired.  All comply with FF specification for type “A” cables.
• Variety of jacket and inner conductor color and options.
• Optional ground wire available.
• 300M continuous-length reels available off-the-shelf for the most popular versions.
