Introducing Northwire’s Weblog

You have to start somewhere, so what is more appropriate than announcing your new weblog on your new weblog?

So, here it is:

This is our first venture into blogging and we are VERY inexperienced. Just how this weblog will be useful to you, the reader, or us, a manufacturer of wire and cable, remains to be seen. This is no doubt an experiment.

This weblog is initially intended to be another communication channel between us and our customers. It will contain “The Update,” new product announcements, company news, job openings, commentary, Press Releases, technical information, industry news, and any other newsy stuff that may be related to our business and yours.

If you know anything about weblogs, many, if not most “blogs” allow feedback in the form of comment posting. Initially, we will not allow comments to be posted back to the weblog (also known as Discussion). We are not ready for a forum as yet, but someday we may set one up.
