Technical college scholarship program for potential employees living in the St. Croix River Valley and West Central Wisconsin to attend Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College enrolling in the Extrusion Technology Certificate.

Scholarship benefits will be coordinated with any other awarded scholarships to equal the full cost of books and tuition.

Interested applicants must demonstrate strong academic and mechanical aptitude in high school and be willing to commit to a positive community and work lifestyle.

Extrusion Technology Certification Scholarship Program
Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College and Northwire, Inc. have partnered to develop and offer educational and training options for current and potential employees of Northwire. The training Certificate is currently defined as a two-semester format that will result in a Certificate and added Clusters in Extrusion Technology.
Eligibility

Applicant must be a high school graduate or equivalent, living in the St. Croix River Valley or West Central Wisconsin.

Applicant plans to attend WITC's Extrusion Technology Certificate.

Applicant must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.25 or higher.

Applicant must successfully meet all WITC enrollment requirements
Conditions of Scholarship

Each scholarship will be awarded for the two (2) semester Extrusion Technology Certificate & Cluster

If an interruption in studies occurs, all scholarship disbursements shall cease. Upon resumption of attendance in the Certificate, the recipient may petition Northwire, Inc. for reinstatement of the scholarship.
Number of Scholarships Awarded
Up to six (6) full scholarships to the Extrusion Technology Certificate will be awarded to high school senior applicants annually.

Complete the application form attached; you can download the forms in PDF format from the Northwire website.

Follow the directions completely. If any information is missing, the applicant cannot be considered.

Application must be received by the dates noted on the top of the application.

Selection Procedure
Northwire, Inc. will award scholarships based on completed application forms and personal recommendations. Consideration will be given to the following:
Award Notification
All applicants will be notified by mail of selection results by Northwire, Inc. Recipients will be announced in the local media and at their high school award ceremony.
Disbursements
Scholarship awards will be paid directly to WITC to be credited to the recipient's account. The recipient will be responsible for notifying Northwire when tuition and related fees are due.
Refunds
Any unused scholarship funds shall be returned to Northwire, Inc.
